David R. Pendery
David Pendery was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He moved to San Francisco when he was 23 and lived there for 13 years. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in International Relations from San Francisco State University. He obtained his master’s degree in Journalism from Boston University in 1997. After working as a journalist and technical analyst, he moved to Taipei, Taiwan, in 2000. He obtained his Ph.D. in English Literature from National Chengchi University and is currently an associate professor at National Taipei University of Business. He is married with one daughter.
