David Utley-Williams
David is a housing campaigner who grew up in the Achilles Street area of New Cross, Lewisham. The area is currently facing the threat of demolition by the council. Since 2016 he has played an active role in the Achilles Street Stop and Listen Campaign – a resident-led group that is trying to get the council to consider alternatives to demolition. He has also written about the broader issues around housing and local democracy in Inner London.
