Debbie Rohwer
Debbie Rohwer is Regents Professor of music education and serves as vice president for planning and chief of staff for the president at the University of North Texas. Dr Rohwer received her bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University, her master’s degree at the Eastman School of Music, and her Ph.D. degree at the Ohio State University. In 1997, Dr Rohwer founded the Denton New Horizons Senior Citizen Beginning Band. She currently serves as conductor, administrator and arranger for the band and is the immediate past editor of Update: Applications of Research in Music Education.
