Deborah Paredez
Deborah Paredez is a performance scholar and poet. She is the author of Selenidad: Selena, Latinos, and the Performance of Memory (Duke 2009) and is working on a book about the role of divas in American culture. She teaches creative writing and ethnic studies at Columbia University.
