Deep Chandra
Prof. Deep Chandra holds a master’s in statistics (with second position) from Meerut University. After serving briefly with NSSO and Ministry of Defence, he retired from Nainital Bank as vice president and regional head (Kumaon Region). During his long tenure of 33 years at Nainital Bank, he has headed many branches at different locations and the Planning, Development and Premises Department at Head Office. He is an MBA in finance from IGNOU. He is also a certificated associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. His academic interests range from business research methods, business analytics, strategic management and marketing of services to banking and finance sector. He is a life member of International Indian Statistical Association and Indian Association for Research in National Income & Wealth. He has to his credit five research papers published in international journals and also two patents.
