Defne Akalın
Defne Akalın received her bachelor’s degrees in psychology and media and visual arts from Koç University, Istanbul. Having studied in various projects in the area of psychology, she is currently working on subjects of cultural objects, and houses in children’s picturebooks. Her research areas are gerontology, death and grief depiction in children’s literature, development psychology, and world cinema. She is working on her master’s in M.Sc. Clinical Psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
