Dian Weys
Dian Weys holds an MA in film studies cum laude from the University of Cape Town and is currently a joint Ph.D. candidate at the University of Groningen and the Stellenbosch University. He has written and directed three television films and three short films, which have been screened at festivals, including Tampere Film Festival, ZINEBI, Message to Man IFF, Athens International Film + Video Festival, Foyle Film Festival and Maryland Film Festival. Apart from filmmaking, he lectures part-time at both the University of the Free State and of Stellenbosch University.
