Diane Maglio

After a commercial career in the menswear market, Diane Maglio is now fulltime faculty of Berkeley College. She served as Associate Chair of the Fashion Department and was awarded Faculty of the Year in 2010. Her research has been published in Dress: The Annual Journal of the Costume Society of America and Critical Studies in Men’s Fashion. She has presented at international conferences, most recently at the 50th anniversary conference of the Costume Society, UK, 2015. She contributed ‘From Royalty to Runway, 100 Years of Menswear’ to the Jack Victor Centennial, 2014. She consulted on menswear for Magritte: The Mystery of the Ordinary at MOMA, New York, 2013−14. She presented ‘Ivy Style with a Twist: Italian Menswear in Beverly Hills Fashion and Film’, at the 2015 Black Bear Film Festival Salon, Pennsylvania.
