Divya Seengal
Divya Seengal is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in design at the University of Newcastle. Prior to her ingress into the academic world, she worked in the industry as a user experience (UX) designer. She is a proponent of designing user-centred design solutions and interventions. Her research interests include AR/VR, interaction design, human–computer interaction and media user experience. Her research focuses primarily on understanding the relationship between the human psyche and experiential interactions with AR/VR technology. Her current research project is an AR storytelling application to explore the differing degrees of engagement a user experiences when interacting with a virtual environment.
