Doerte Weig
Doerte Weig’s fascination is to uncover how the different facets of human physicality relate to sociopolitical transformation and ecological awareness. Doerte has a Ph.D. in social anthropology and experience researching with hunter-gatherers, contemporary dancers, movement meditation practitioners, citizen scientists and fascia specialists. Doerte believes that we cannot think or perceive the future of human societies, of education, health or work, without taking into account the sensoriality of our moving–sensing bodies, and raising ecosystemic awareness and lived ecological nestedness.
