Dong Hyun Song
Dr Dong Hyun Song is a postdoctoral fellow at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore. His research focuses on exploring the gap between online media and its offline counterpart as well as the effect of cyberspace on sociopolitical culture on the ground and digital media culture in everyday lives. He received his Ph.D. in Media and Communications at Goldsmiths University of London. Dr Song worked at the Korean Internet Security Agency between 2014 and 2016, a research agency funded by the Korean government to support the government’s information and communications technology (ICT) policy-making.
