Donato Totaro is presently writing his doctoral dissertation on time and the long take at The University of Warwick, UK. He has been a part-time film studies lecturer at Concordia University, Canada, since 1990, and is editor of the online film journal "Offscreen" (www.offscreen.com). He has published on recent Asian cinema, the cinema of Andrei Tarkovsky, and the horror genre.
