Dorothy Kidd

Dorothy Kidd worked in alternative and community media for many years and now teaches media studies at the University of San Francisco, California. Her primary research focuses on social justice communications. She has been teaching media studies for over thirty years in San Francisco and Vancouver, Canada, to which she brings a background in feminist popular education, Indigenous broadcast training and transnational movement activism with four decades of alternative media production and participation in democratic media reform.
