Dylan Lawrence Gibson
Dylan Lawrence Gibson is an archaeogaming volunteer (previously an intern) at the non-profit organization Save Ancient Studies Alliance (SASA). By way of formal education, he holds a master’s degree (in musicology) and is currently enrolling in a Ph.D. programme at Stellenbosch University, Africa Open Institute (Cape Town, South Africa). His specialization is dedicated to analysing ancient cuneiform music-theoretical and notation inscriptions. As part of his first degree (2012–14) he minored in ancient studies and this is when he was introduced to and became interested in the fields of Assyriology, philology and cuneiform studies.
