Edward Bowen
Edward Bowen is an assistant teaching professor of Italian at the University of Kansas. His research focuses on Italian film history, film exhibition, independent cinema and urban studies. He co-edited with Rémi Lanzoni and contributed to The Cinema of Ettore Scola (Wayne State University Press, 2020). He has published articles in Bianco e Nero, Textual Cultures, Cinema e storia and Journal of Italian Cinema & Media Studies, and he also contributed to the volume Experimental and Independent Italian Cinema: Legacies and Transformations into the Twenty-First Century (Edinburgh University Press, 2020), edited by Anthony Cristiano and Carlo Coen. He is currently preparing a volume with Damien Pollard titled Film Exhibition: The Italian Context.
