Eirini Sifaki
Eirini Sifaki is an associate tutor in cultural communication at the Hellenic Open University. She holds a Ph.D. in information and communication sciences from the University Paris 3 – Sorbonne Nouvelle. She has participated in various Greek and European research projects on cultural management and research ethics. She is a co-editor of the books City and Cinema: Theoretical and Methodological Approaches (in Greek) and World Film Locations: Athens. Her recent book with Anastasia Stamou and Maria Papadopoulou entitled The Emergence of a New Wave in Contemporary Greek Cinema: Processes of Artistic Production, Legitimization and Communication in the Art World will be published in 2020 (in Greek) by the National Center for Social Research, EKKE. Her research interests and her publications involve issues on cultural sociology, film studies and cultural communication.
