Ekaterina Sharova
Ekaterina Sharova is a curator, educator and writer. Having a background in pedagogy, philosophy, history of art and performance studies, she is interested in redesigning invisible social threads, bringing back forgotten histories and meeting points between various – seemingly disconnected – approaches. She holds a master’s degree in art history (University of Oslo). Ekaterina has been advisor for Àbadakone, an exhibition of contemporary Indigenous art at the National Gallery of Canada. She has co-curated projects for Barents Spektakel, Arctic Art Forum and Arctic Arts Summit. She has edited books on northern art and the Chatter Marks magazine (in collaboration with the Anchorage Museum).
