Eleni Glinou

Eleni Glinou (artist – educator – researcher) has served as professor of graphic design at the Graphic Design School of the Technological Institute of Athens for seventeen years, and as a tutor at the Athens Academy of Fine Arts for three years. She has conducted workshops at Aalto University Finland and at conferences including the 2009 Rhetoric of the Visible, for the International Semeiotics Society in Venice and at the Warsaw conference, Thinking in Visual Communication. She is a visual artist who graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts and has MAs in printmaking and multimedia from Royal college of Arts, London. Eleni holds personal and group art exhibitions in Greece, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States, and her work can be found in private and public collections. Her research areas include graphic design practices, communication design, interaction design, symbols and visualization, visual narratives, conceptual art and digital visualization.
