Elisenda Estanyol Casals
Elisenda Estanyol Casals is a lecturer in the Information and Communication Sciences Department, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). Elisenda holds academic director master’s degree in Corporate Communication, Protocol and Events (UOC), Ph.D. in Advertising and Public Relations from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and a master’s degree in Corporate Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). Before joining the university, she worked for several years in public relations consultancies (Llorente & Cuenca, Hill + Knowlton Strategies) and in-house communication departments (CAATEEB, DiR). She also teaches in the Department of Communication of the UPF and UAB. Since 2013, she has been a researcher of the Research Group on Learning, Media and Entertainment (GAME) at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and she is also a research collaborator at the Communication, Advertising & Society Research Group (CAS) at the UPF.
