Elizabeth Benjamin

Elizabeth Benjamin is a lecturer in French at Coventry University whose research spans the fields of comparative aesthetics, visual art and cultural memory. Her first book, Dada and Existentialism: The Authenticity of Ambiguity, was published with Palgrave Macmillan in 2016. She is currently in the early stages of a second monograph on the construction of cultural memory, the art of memorialization and the evolution of French national identity in the modern and contemporary francophone world.
