Elizabeth R. Earle

Elizabeth R. Earle is an assistant professor of rhetoric in the Department of Communication Studies at California State University, Sacramento. She received her Ph.D. in rhetoric and public affairs in the Department of Communication at Texas A&M, in addition to a master’s in Hispanic studies and a master’s in communication studies from Louisiana State University. Her intercultural and interdisciplinary research combines these interests, looking at the intersection of political rhetoric and media in Latin America, Spain and the United States. Additionally, she has received multiple grants and fellowships for her international research that examines political texts and rhetorical responses to political crises.
