Ellen C. Mareneck
Ellen C. Mareneck, MFA, MA, CCC-SLP, is an assistant professor of communication arts and sciences at Bronx Community College (CUNY) in New York City. She has been a professional actress for over 30 years, performing in plays at The Public Theater, Manhattan Theatre Club, SoHo Rep, Actor’s Theatre of Louisville and New Georges, among others. She is a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre. Her academic fields are Theatre and Speech. She has a BA from Brown University, an MFA in acting from Brandeis University and an MA in speech-language pathology from Lehman College. She is currently researching the use of theatre techniques to improve quality of life in children who stutter.
