Emanuela Corti
Emanuela Corti is a designer, educator and researcher. She shaped her multifaceted experience in Milan, Beijing and Dubai, where she has lived for more than a decade. Emanuela is currently a faculty in the Department of Architecture, Art and Design at Ajman University. Her research lies on the inclusive and social aspect of design with a strong emphasis on smart fabrics and wearables. She sees design as an innovation tool that has the power to improve people’s life. Among her initiatives is the SenseWear project, a collection of smart garments that incorporate sensory therapies, winner of several international awards and European funds.
