Emily Neumeier

Emily Neumeier is an assistant professor of Islamic art and architecture at Temple University in the United States. In her own research, she specializes in the visual and spatial cultures of the eastern Mediterranean, with a focus on the Ottoman Empire. Neumeier works with her students to explore emerging technologies and engage in public scholarship through digital initiatives, such as the recent podcast series Monument Biography.
