Emma Hughes
Emma Hughes is an activist, researcher and writer, and part of Platform. She leads the group’s campaign against the human rights & ecological impacts of the Euro-Caspian Mega-Pipeline. She has co-authored All That Glitters (2015). She is a member of Red Pepper’s editorial collective, an independent magazine of the green and radical left, published in Britain. Platform (platformlondon.org), is a London-based arts, human rights and ecological justice organization that has pioneered diverse and far reaching responses to issues of international importance for more than 30 years. Based on core values of solidarity, creativity and democracy, Platform combines art, activism, education and research to achieve long-term systemic goals.
