Enrico Gheller
Enrico Gheller is a postdoctoral researcher at the Università degli Studi di Udine. He holds a Ph.D. in visual arts and musicology from the Université de Caen Normandie, in co-tutorship with the Università degli Studi di Padova. His research concerns the cultural history of cinema and reception studies, as well as the history of film criticism. Since 2017, he has collaborated on the Progetti di Rilevante Interesse Nazionale (‘Projects of considerable national interest’) project entitled ‘Per una storia privata della critica cinematografica italiana’ (‘A private history of Italian film criticism’). As part of this project, he focuses on the relationship between critical activity and the use of photography.
Dissertation co-directed by Dr Christian Viviani, Université de Caen Normandie and Dr Rosamaria Salvatore, Università degli Studi di Padova.
