Enrico Nicolò

Enrico Nicolò was born in Rome, Italy, in 1957, and received a Doctor Laurea Degree in electronic engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of Rome La Sapienza, Italy, in 1983. He is a senior engineering research scientist at Fondazione Ugo Bordoni, where he deals with user experience of communication technologies, with a focus on young and elderly users. He has gained experience as a scenario methodologist, project-network modeller and simulationist, telecommunications networks and services scholar, multimedia science laboratory designer, electromagnetic field biohazard investigator as well as information and communication professional applied ethicist. He has also dealt with the language of photographic communication. He is author of more than seventy scientific publications. Prior to joining FUB in 1986, he was with S.E.S.A. Italia for three years, where he worked on telephone and packet-switched data networks.
