Eric Essono Tsimi
Eric Essono Tsimi is Ph.D. candidate at the University of Virginia, where he went after a delightful year teaching and researching social psychology, as graduate assistant, at the University of Lausanne. His first doctoral dissertation has been prepared at the LLSETI (University of Grenoble-Alpes) in joint supervision with Larpsydis (University of Lausanne). The research focuses on both contemporary African literature and cultural psychology, with particular interest in transnationalism, migrant writers and dialogical self theory. He is the author of the novel Migrants Diaries (2015), has published six books and 100 newspaper articles. He was awarded a ‘bourse de création’ of the CNL (an agency of the French Ministry of Cultural Affairs) in support of the writing of his new novel that will be released in 2018 and will be revolving around the warlord Rabah.
