Erica Moulton

Erica Moulton is a Ph.D. candidate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research is primarily in the field of screenwriting and adaptation, focusing on the evolution of the story department during Hollywood’s studio era. She has an MA in Shakespeare studies from King’s College London and recently contributed to the forthcoming volume, Reading with Orson Welles, writing about the influence of Shakespeare’s history plays on Welles’s stage and screen work. Her chapter on Paul Schrader’s adapted screenplays for The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) and The Mosquito Coast (1986) will be published in the forthcoming ReFocus series from Edinburgh University Press.
