Erin Bell
Dr Erin Bell is the Director of the Writing Center at the University of Detroit Mercy where she also is an adjunct instructor for the English department. Her research focuses on popular culture, women’s writing and feminist and queer theories. She is particularly interested in the intersections between post-humanism, gender and sexuality as portrayed in contemporary science fiction and fantasy. Recently, she contributed essays to peer-edited volumes regarding Star Trek and Alice Walker’s The Color Purple and her work has appeared in the journals Short Story in Theory & Practice and The Explicator.
