Eugène F. Loos
Dr Eugène Loos is an associate professor at the Utrecht School of Governance, Utrecht University in the Netherlands. As a linguist, he has conducted research and written several books, book chapters and journal articles in the field of organizational (intercultural) organization and the use of new media. Currently his research focuses on the role of old and new media related to accessible information for senior citizens, in order to guarantee their inclusion in our society. He investigates the (ir)relevance of age and life stage for: (1) digital information search behaviour, (2) the perception of the reliability of information, (3) the identification with images in information sources, (4) the impact of visual and textual signs in digital health information on their cognition and affection and (5) the creation and use of (intergenerational) digital games for younger and older adults’ well-being.
