Eunah Lee
Eunah Lee is an assistant professor of philosophy at St. Joseph’s University on Long Island, NY. She earned her BA and MA at Seoul National University and Ph.D. in philosophy at Stony Brook University. Currently, she is working on the notions of agency, the ethics of memory and representation within the context of sexual slavery during the Asia-Pacific War. She was the first recipient of the Transnational Justice Interdisciplinary Workshop Grants at Marquette University in 2015, and a co-organizer of a travelling film screening of The Silence, a documentary about ‘comfort women’ in 2019. Her recent work, ‘Love and horror: In Bong Joon-Ho’s Mother and Lee Chang-Dong’s Poetry’, appears as a book chapter in Philosophy, Film, and The Dark Side of Interdependence (Lexington Books, 2020).
