Eva Kjellander Hellqvist
Eva Kjellander Hellqvist is senior lecturer in musicology, having taken her Ph.D. in 2013 with the dissertation ‘Me and my fandom: What music can mean to people’. Kjellander Hellqvist is employed at Linnaeus University in Sweden, where she enjoys teaching music sociology and popular music history. Her research interests include everything from how the music climate was affected by the progressive movement during the 1970s via different kinds of fandoms, to the repertoire choices that are made within today’s ensemble playing in music teacher education.
