Fabiana Carelli

Fabiana Carelli is Bachelor of Arts – Portuguese at the University of São Paulo (1993), Licensee in Arts – Portuguese at the University of São Paulo (1996), Master in Literature (Literary Theory and Comparative Literature), University of Sao Paulo (1997), Ph.D. in Letters (Literary Theory and Comparative Literature), University of São Paulo (2003) and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Minnesota (2010). She is currently a Professor of Comparative Literatures in Portuguese at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. She has experience in the field of Arts, with emphasis on Comparative Studies, acting on the following topics: Comparative Studies, Literatures of Portuguese-speaking African countries, Brazil and Portugal, and focusing on the relationship between culture and politics, literature and oral tradition, literature and film, literature and other forms of knowledge, literature and power.
