Fátima Chinita
Fátima Chinita is an associate professor at the Theatre and Film School of the Lisbon Polytechnic Institute, Film Department. She holds a Ph.D. in artistic studies (film and audio-visual media) and just concluded a three-year joint post-doctoral research at IMS – Linnaeus University Centre for Intermedial and Multimodal Studies, University of Linnaeus, campus Växjö, Sweden, and Labcom.IFP – Communication, Philosophy and Humanities research centre, University of Beira Interior, Portugal. She is the author of The (In)visible Spectator: Reflexivity from the Film Viewer’s Perspective in David Lynch’s INLAND EMPIRE, Covilhã: Livros Labcom, 2013 (in Portuguese). She publishes on film studies, intermediality, interarts and film narrative.
