Fincina Hopgood
Dr Fincina Hopgood is a lecturer in screen studies in the Faculty of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences and Education at the University of New England and Honorary Associate Investigator with the ARC Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions. Fincina has published widely on Australian cinema and screen portrayals of mental illness. She is part of an interdisciplinary team collaborating with mental health organizations to develop a large-scale research project investigating empathy and the positive potential of screen media for mental health.
