Fiona Gray

Fiona Gray is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Centre for Regional and Rural Futures at Deakin University (Geelong, Australia). Her key research interests include place making, creative cities, and urban revitalization with a particular focus on regional centres. She is also a registered architect with twenty years of industry experience across residential, commercial and government sectors. Fiona is the Victorian State Chair of the Australasian Early Career Urban Researchers Network (AECURN) and a Board Member of Creative Geelong, an organization that provides a forum for local creative collaboration and telling the stories of Geelong’s creativity. Her research has been recognized via academic awards including the Neil Archbold Memorial Medal, the Society of Architectural Historians Australia and New Zealand (SAHANZ) David Saunders Grant, and the Green Lines Institute Best Paper Award.
