Florence Evans
Florence Evans is a Ph.D. candidate in cultural analysis at the University of Amsterdam. Her research is situated between the fields of visual culture, political violence and social movements. Her Ph.D. research examines cultural objects produced by artists and activists in Buenos Aires in the 1990s which sought to transform public memory of the country’s last civil-military dictatorship (1976–83). She holds an M.St. in history of art and visual culture from the University of Oxford and a BA(Hons) in history of art from the University of East Anglia.
