Francesco Venturi

Francesco Venturi is a musician, researcher, producer and author. His work explores the transformative power of vocality and takes the form of performances, compositions, shows, collaborations, publications and educational projects. His work has been presented in institutions such as Hangar Bicocca in Milan, Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, and Palais de Tokyo in Paris. He scored award-winning productions across cinema, theatre, dance and visual arts, and has performed in various vocal and instrumental ensembles since 1999. He holds a Ph.D. from Kingston University of London, he leads voice-centerd projects Europe-wide and lectured in Theories of Voice at the Milan Conservatory. He is the editor of Creak: Theories and Practices of Pulse Phonation (2023).
