François Ribac
François Ribac is a musical theatre composer and sociologist of culture, and senior lecturer at the University of Burgundy (France), Laboratoire Cimeos. He is coordinator of the research project ASMA (Performing Arts and Music in the Anthropocene Era – 2016–19). He is the author in particular of L’Avaleur de rock (La Dispute 2004) and, together with Catherine Dutheil-Pessin, of La Fabrique de la Programmation culturelle (La Dispute 2017). He has written seven operas and music for silent films and TV. His records have been published by Musea (France) and No Mans Land (Germany).
