Gabriele Mueller
Gabriele Mueller is associate professor of German studies at York University in Toronto, Canada. Her research focuses mainly on contemporary German cinema within a European context. She has published on various aspects of post-unification cinema, in particular on cinema’s contributions to memory discourses and cinematic responses to social change. She is the co-editor of Exhibiting the German Past: Museums, Film, and Musealization (with Peter McIsaac) and Cinema and Social Change in Germany and Austria (with James Skidmore).
