Gamal M. Selim
Gamal M. Selim is an associate professor of political science at The British University in Egypt and Port Said University. He received his Ph.D. in political science from the University of Calgary (Canada) in 2011 and his MA and BA degrees in political science from the American University in Cairo (Egypt). His areas of research interest are foreign policy analysis, democratization and international relations of the Middle East. Dr Selim’s most recent work includes ‘Egyptian foreign policy after the 2011 revolution’ (2022), ‘Sino-Egyptian relations post-2013’ (2021), ‘The Sino-Russian strategic understanding on the Arab uprisings’ (2019), ‘The impact of Arab revolutions on Asia’ (2017) and The International Dimensions of Democratization in Egypt (Springer International Publishing, 2015). He has published numerous articles on Egyptian and Middle East politics. His latest journal articles have appeared in British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies, Arab Studies Quarterly, Journal of Contemporary Iraq & the Arab World and Journal of the Social Sciences.
