Gary Bettinson

Gary Bettinson is a senior lecturer in film studies at Lancaster University (United Kingdom). He is author of The Sensuous Cinema of Wong Kar-wai (Hong Kong University Press, 2015) and co-editor of The Poetics of Chinese Cinema (with James Udden, Palgrave Macmillan, 2016), Hong Kong Horror Cinema (with Daniel Martin, Edinburgh University Press, 2018) and The Cinema of Stephen Chow (with Vivian P. Y. Lee, Bloomsbury, 2024).
