Gary Bosworth

Gary Bosworth is a specialist in rural development with a particular interest in the interconnected roles of demographic change and entrepreneurship in shaping rural futures. He has carried out research for the UK Government to better understand rural entrepreneurial ecosystems as well as numerous projects on rural enterprise support, rural social innovation and most recently on changing patterns of remote and hybrid working in rural areas. He has been a co-chair of the ISBE rural enterprise network, hosted the rural entrepreneurship conference twice and served as a regional branch chair for the Regional Studies Association.
