George Bouvier

George Bouvier is the chair of the Luxury Plus Summit – the leading luxury industry conference – and speaker and advisor to a number of top-tier luxury fashion brands, participating on their boards as non-executive director. He is the founder of Academia Cerebra, a boutique higher education (HE) school for young professionals and graduates in the fashion and luxury industry and specializes in personal branding, creative problem solving and lateral thinking. He read management sciences at Manchester University and worked at Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani and Vivienne Westwood before entering the academic world. He has held a number of senior academic leadership posts for universities in the United Kingdom and Italy, and has advised as an expert at national and international institutions alike such as the University Central Admissions System in the United Kingdom and the European Commission in Brussels (European Union). He has contributed to Vogue magazine, The Times, South China Morning Post and academic events as well as conferences. He is based in Milan and champions inclusivity, innovation and visionary thinking in HE that prepares the next generation of luxury fashion executives.
