George C. Grinnell

George C. Grinnell teaches literary and cultural theory at University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus, and has published in journals such as European Journal of Cultural Studies, Studies in Romanticism, European Romantic Review, English Studies in Canada and CR: The New Centennial Review. He is the author of The Social Life of Biometrics (Rutgers, 2020) and The Age of Hypochondria (Palgrave Macmillan, 2010) and is the recipient of multiple Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada grants. In 2011, he received the Gustave O. Arlt Award in the Humanities from the Council of Graduate Schools. He is presently working on a project involving punk memoirs.
