Gilbert Motsaathebe
Gilbert Motsaathebe (Ph.D.) is an associate professor in the Department of Journalism, Film and Television at the University of Johannesburg. He is an NRF-rated academic and is also affiliated to the University of South Africa’s English Department as a Research Fellow. He previously taught at the United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town after working for several television stations and government departments in different capacities.
