Gillian Wylde

Gillian Wylde makes performative work for video, page and installation. Central to her work is a critical engagement with new technologies and the mediated. ‘Material things or stuff’ in relation to the video camera, processes of appropriation and post-production are constants through most of the work like maybe a savage smell or hairy logic. Recent work has been shown at Centre for Contemporary Arts Glasgow, Arnolfini Bristol, Institute of Contemporary Art London, The Hague Royal Academy of Art and ISEA International Symposium on Electronic Art Hong Kong. Gillian is currently senior lecturer in Fine Art at Falmouth University in Cornwall, United Kingdom.
