Originally from Florianópolis, Brazil, Giovana Nabarrete de Souza Cruz moved to Canada to complete her BFA in film production at the University of Regina. Themes such as the relationship between politics and cinema are among her passions. Once graduated, she hopes to work as a cinematographer.
