Giovanna Mascheroni
Giovanna Mascheroni (Ph.D. in Sociology) is Research Fellow at the University of Turin, Department of Political Studies. She is Senior Researcher at OssCom, a research centre on media based at the Università Cattolica of Milano, where the EU Kids Online Italian team is based. Her research interests are devoted to the study of the Internet, mobile communication and the emergence of a new sociality; and Internet uses within communication, consumption and participation. Among her international publications are ‘Global nomads’ network and mobile sociality. Exploring new media uses on the move’, Information, Communication and Society, 2007.
